What soft washing means
Soft washing uses lower pressure than conventional pressure washing and may involve a suitable cleaning solution. It is not a universal treatment and should not be described as risk-free or appropriate for every wall, coating or finish.
The surface material, paint or render condition, nearby metals, planting, drainage and access all matter. Martin will need enough information to decide whether an inspection is required.
Pressure, treatment and dwell time
Pressure washing relies more heavily on mechanical action. Soft washing can rely more on an appropriate solution and controlled application. A chemical or biocide treatment is a defined product application, not a vague synonym for cleaning. Product choice, dilution, dwell time and rinsing must suit the surface and surroundings.
